The Lew Cantley lab is deeply committed to unraveling the complexities of cancer metabolism and signal transduction, which have revealed foundational insights into cancer cell biology and have informed the development of novel therapies in the fight against cancer.
 
Our lab employs a multifaceted approach including biochemical and genetic techniques to dissect the PI3K pathway, protein kinases and vulnerabilities of diverse cancer types. Our work also spans the investigation of drug resistance mechanisms and tumor evolution, with the goal of enhancing the efficacy of existing treatments.
 
At the heart of our mission is the drive to translate laboratory discoveries into clinical applications. We are dedicated to developing new strategies and treatments that can be tested in clinical trials, with the aim of improving patient outcomes in cancer care.
